David James is the Founder, President, and CEO of The Jamestown Companies, an integrated construction and real estate development firm focused on disciplined execution and long-term value creation.

David began his career in the railcar manufacturing industry, working for one of the nation’s leading railcar manufacturers. He started on the shop floor as a production welder and advanced through procurement, sourcing, and operations, ultimately reaching the executive level. This hands-on progression built a deep understanding of large-scale manufacturing, cost control, and complex project delivery—experience that now underpins Jamestown’s execution-driven approach.

A fourth-generation builder, David founded Jamestown to blend institutional thinking with operator-level expertise across development, construction, and capital partnerships.

He is a husband and father of two, enjoys the outdoors, and remains actively involved in setting Jamestown’s strategic direction, overseeing development initiatives, and cultivating investor relationships.

Nick has over 30 years of experience leading complex construction projects from early planning through successful completion. He brings a steady, detail-oriented approach to managing budgets, schedules, and teams, with a consistent focus on delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Known for his practical leadership style and ability to navigate challenging project environments, Nick has successfully guided projects through periods of market uncertainty while maintaining strong financial performance and exceeding stakeholder expectations. He is experienced across all phases of construction, including estimating, construction lending strategies, contract administration, and building practices.

Nick specializes in senior living, long-term healthcare, and multifamily developments, where quality, durability, and operational efficiency are critical. He is valued for his collaborative approach, clear communication, and commitment to delivering environments that serve residents, operators, and owners alike.

Scott is a seasoned business leader with over 30 years of experience in operational strategy, real estate development, construction management, and financial leadership across the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

Scott leverages his extensive background in development and construction to drive project execution, meet performance metrics, and maximize investor returns. Previously, as Business Operations Manager at Emerio Design (2022–2025), he restructured operational teams, implemented new contract processes, and led strategic planning to position the firm for sustainable growth.

From 2007–2022, Scott served as Director of Development and Construction at Marquis Companies, directing site selection, entitlements, and project management for senior living facilities totaling over $300M. Earlier roles include Director of Property Development at Pacific Santa Fe ($150M+ in residential projects) and VP of Finance & Investor Relations at Touchmark Living Centers, where he secured debt and equity financing for multi-site expansions.

Scott began his career managing a successful turnaround and sales doubling as General Manager at Intermountain Galvanizing post-acquisition by Valmont Industries.

A 1987–1991 Oregon State University B.S. in Finance graduate raised in rural north-central Oregon, Scott embodies hard work, perseverance, and accountability. His expertise spans strategic planning, capital raising, stakeholder relations, and large-scale project execution.

Active in community leadership, Scott served on the Ronald McDonald House Charities Board of Trustees (2018–2022), Vital Life Foundation (2020–2022), and continues to serve on the board of The Berean Way (2007–Present). He maintains deep relationships with regional developers, builders, lenders and investors.

Carol is the executive assistant at Jamestown Construction. She supports operations and works closely with the CEO to ensure the company’s licensing and compliance foundations remain strong.

She began working in the construction industry during her first year of college, assisting project managers and learning the business from the ground up. In 2019, she became a licensed contractor in the state of Oregon.

Her experience spans both field and office environments, giving her a well-rounded perspective on how effective teams and organizations function. Fluent in Spanish, she also plays an important role in supporting communication across multilingual construction teams.

In her free time, she enjoys the local library and working with children. She grew up in Portland, Oregon, where she continues to value community, craftsmanship, and meaningful work.

Bryan is a Project Manager at Jamestown Construction, bringing a hands-on background and strong leadership to every project he oversees. He began his career working as a carpenter throughout college, gaining practical field experience that shaped his understanding of construction from the ground up. After graduation, Bryan naturally transitioned into leadership roles, managing crews and coordinating complex scopes of work.

Bryan specializes in home remodeling and commercial tenant improvements, with a strong appreciation for craftsmanship, durability, and detail. To further strengthen his technical and managerial expertise, he returned to school and earned a graduate degree in Construction Management, blending field knowledge with advanced project planning, budgeting, and execution skills.

Outside of work, Bryan enjoys staying active through trail running, outdoor sports, and exploring nature—interests that reflect the energy, focus, and perseverance he brings to his work at Jamestown Construction

Ted is the superintendent at Jamestown Construction. With 38 years of experience in commercial construction, Ted provides hands-on leadership on ground-up, remodeling, and tenant improvement projects across office, retail, senior living, multifamily, hotels, financial institutions, schools, and educational and critical facilities. He emphasizes proper construction management both on-site and off-site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget through disciplined planning, coordination, quality control, and clear communication from preconstruction through closeout. Ted was raised in the Pacific Northwest. He is a husband and a father raising five children.
